These housings are one of the two magical components that make up the Anderson Powerpole. The color of housing indicates the intended use:

• Red (am-2158): Positive Wires
• Black (am-2159): Ground Wires
• White (am-4272): Used on the 3rd phase of brushless motors and controllers

The other component of the Anderson Powerpole is the metal contact, available as one of two options:

• PP15 (am-3181) : rated for 15A, 600 V AC/DC and for a 20-16 AWG wire
• PP45 (am-2157): rated for 45A, 600 V AC/DC and for a 10 AWG wire
